A/ CNRS applications and services
- Each member of the Institute has a digital identity at the CNRS, called Janus identity
- The identifier is in the form firstname.lastname@ijm.fr - Password reinit on https://sesame.cnrs.fr/
- This identity allows access to different CNRS applications via Janus service :
B/ CNRS messaging

Access to CNRS/Thalès messaging on the domain @ijm.fr is done with another account,
different from the previous Janus account

- For applications and services specific to the IJM, a common IT account is available to each person

D/ Centralized and secure IJM storage
- Access to the centralized and secure IJM storage (ex-Compellent) is done with another account,
different from the previous one
- The identifier is available on cette page - Password reinit on http://ssp.ijm.fr/
- This account must be ask to the IT department

E/ UPC applications and services
F/ New arrivals
- When a new person arrives at the Institute
- It is registered in the CNRS human resources repository (RESEDA)
by the human resources department or the financial management department (Master students)
- The next day, she received a CNRS mailbox prenom.nom@ijm.fr
- She must come to the IT department to initialize the password for this mailbox
- She can then freely activate
- its CNRS identity for CNRS applications linked to Janus by going to Sesame
- its IJM identity for IJM applications by going to https://ldap.ijm.fr/
G/ Federation of national and international identities and services
- The two identities CNRS/Janus and UPC are linked to the RENATER federation of identities and the European EduGain federation
Many academic services and applications on the Internet use these identities
